I'm asking communities to tell me about their unsung local heroes. Those who have been working in voluntary initiatives or doing personal acts of kindness; from shopping and cooking, to walking dogs, collecting medical supplies, manning support helplines or running community response groups.
The voluntary efforts of local individuals, groups and businesses working together during this crisis has been remarkable; demonstrating a strong commitment to support others.
