West Dorset MP Chris Loder met with Ukrainian Ambassador Vadym Prystaiko on Wednesday 2nd March in Parliament to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and efforts taken by the people of West Dorset to provide help and support to both those currently in Ukraine, and Ukrainian refugees fleeing the conflict.
Among these efforts was that of the Prince of Wales School, Dorchester who have organised an entire lorry load of supplies to be driven out to support those in Ukraine.
Mr Loder said “the Ukrainian Ambassador was extremely grateful to everyone in West Dorset who has helped and especially grateful to the Prince of Wales School when I showed him the photos of their colossal effort”
