On the 10th November, Chris Loder, MP for West Dorset, visited All Saints CofE Primary School in Bishops Caundle, which he attended as a pupil over thirty years ago. Mr Loder met staff and students and was given a tour of the premises by Headteacher, Nigel Robert, before speaking to everyone about his role as the local MP.
Mr Loder said: “It’s been brilliant return to my old Primary School, All Saints in Bishops Caundle. While I was a pupil at this school all those years ago, I never thought I would become a Member of Parliament! My main message for the pupils was clear: always aim high and keep going.”
He continued: “It’s fantastic to see that the School and its staff are providing a brilliant education to all pupils. Along with all other primary schools in West Dorset, All Saints will benefit from record-funding through the National Funding Formula for 2024-25.”
